Hill tells us our subconscious mind functions voluntarily, whether we make any effort to influence it or not. He also tells us that the subconscious mind will not remain idle!

These two statements are to me, the two most important points in this chapter.

Most people understand the first of these two points, that the subconscious functions voluntarily.

But unless we take control of our subconscious and programme it carefully, it will be readily influenced by whatever happens in our life, whether that is positive or negative.

This is why Michael tells us to turn off the chatter, turn off the TV, stop listening to the news and to gossip, and to surround ourselves with as much positivity as humanly possible.

EVERYTHING in our environment influences our thought processes, which in turn influence what we believe and therefore what we do on a daily basis.

And what we do influences our lives in every possible way, both our personal lives and business success or failure.

Avoiding negativity is the first step in re-programming our minds. The second step is to install powerful positive self-talk.

Again this is why Michael tells us to say our self-talk many times throughout the day until it becomes second nature.

!I am so happy and gratefull now that my team and I are attracting great leaders into our business, easily and consistently through education and teamwork."
