Think & Grow Rich Lesson

Chapter 3—FAITH

Hill invites me to use his recipe for Self Confidence as summed up in his bold statement, “you may CONVINCE the

subconscious mind that you believe you will receive that for which you ask, and it will act upon that belief which your
subconscious mind passes back to you in the form of FAITH, followed by definite plans for procuring that which you desire.”

Recipe for Self confidence Ingredients:

  1. Belief:  I must believe I have the ability to achieve the statement I write of my desired experience in my business and life goals

  1. Trust:  I must persist and trust that my dominating thoughts will eventually move me to physical reality that can change my life’s path. I now pledge to spend 30 minutes a day focusing on the person I intend to become.

  1. Auto Suggestion:  Using autosuggestion, I will hold the desired goal in my mind, knowing that it will seek to be expressed in some practical mean.  I will focus on developing SELF-CONFIDENCE

  1. Faith:  Pen & Paper: Write down my particular goal in life and never stop trying until I have enough self-confidence to achieve it.

  1.  I determine to build all my efforts on strong moral values, be served because I serve, eliminate all negative forces from my life and be believed by others because I believe in them.

Cooking Procedure:

Commit to #1 and get started

Memorize my DEFINITE CHIEF GOAL

Add full FAITH that it will influence my THOUGHTS and ACTIONS

Repeat complete goal aloud once daily

Sign the paper as a legal document between me and myself.

Enjoy being a SELF-RELIANT, SUCCESSSFUL PERSON

Nearly 5 years from beginning this path, I am finally letting go of my green way of doing this other ways and am actually
beginning to do the above activity as prescribed.  I have faith and hope that it will work for me.

Thanks to Linda and M Michael Dlouhy for walking this path with each of us, watching us stray and smiling when
we finally give in to the process..
