Chapter 14-The Sixth Sense

The five basic senses are smell, sight, taste, touch, and hearing. These
senses are based on material sensations—they allow us to perceive things
that physically exist around us.

I have to ask just how well I am using all the senses God has given to me.
What would I be missing if I lost even one of the five basic senses? I was
having issues with cloudiness in my vision even after getting new glasses.
My ophthalmologist told me the change was due to a cataract growing causing
my vision to change I would need a stronger lens.

I had surgery 4 months ago on my ankle, now I have no feeling from the arch
through the big toe. This lack of feeling has affected the way I now walk not
being as surefooted. Just with my experience with these issues,  I felt with
my vision and feelings in my foot has shown the difficultly it would be to lose
any of the sense.

If we can feel lost when just one of the basic 5 senses is missing, why is it
that most people fell to heed and give much attention to the Sixth Sense God
has given? The Sixth Sense, the medium of contact between the finite mind of
man and Infinite Intelligence a mixture of both the mental and the spiritual.

All of us have had a time when we have felt warned of impending dangers just
at the right moment to avoid them or a sense of opportunities in time to embrace
them. This is the action of the Sixth Sense.

Hill states, “There comes to your aid, and to do your bidding, with the development
of the Sense Sixth, a "guardian angel" who will open to you at all times the door
to the Temple of Wisdom.”

I was driving on a long stretch of open highway with little or no traffic and just
as I was coming up to a rise, I had felt a need to slow down even before I could
see over the top. It was a good thing for just on the other side were rescue
vehicles on both sides of the road servicing a semi overturned in the medium of
the highway.

We all have a Sense Sixth and we all can tap into it; all it takes is becoming
aware and paying attention to the subtle messages that our sixth sense offers.
Sometimes it is just listening to that small voice that speaks volumes to us.

Listening to our sixth sense is just like any other skill we can learn how to tap
into, use it, and apply it to every aspect of our life, building relationships,
marketing a product, or growing a business. It is a choice that we can make or not
make, we have to be open to it.

My gratitude and thanks to Linda and Michael for giving us this mastermind and showing
us how to tap into our sixth sense. I deeply appreciate everyone who participated
in this mastermind and joins in the weekly visits.
