When I first started reading this chapter I just imagined that the sixth sense was something that protected you or forwarned you of danger but it’s really a lot more than that, in fact the title, The Sixth Sense, The Door To The Temple Of Wisdom suggests a whole lot more. I ask myself who would reside in the temple of wisdom. And the answer I get is God himself.

Hill says “The sixth sense probably is the medium of contact between the finite mind of man and Infinite Intelligence (GOD ), and for this reason, it is a mixture of both the mental and the spiritual. It is believed to be the point at which the mind of man contacts the Universal Mind. The SIXTH SENSE is that portion of the subconscious mind which has been referred to as the Creative Imagination. It has also been referred to as the “receiving set” through which ideas, plans, and thoughts flash into the mind. The “flashes” are sometimes called “hunches” or “inspirations.” It’s really how we hear from God in all matters once we have mastered the other principles and being protected or alerted to danger is just one of the benefits.

I think that we also have to cultivate a sense of awareness also. I have wondered sometimes when I see or read of an accident that could easily be avoided if only we had been paying a little attention. I have some friends who have two sons living in Chicago, one that has been mugged from behind not just once but twice because his mind was preoccupied by looking at his phone. You would think that once would be enough to be on your toes a whole lot more. Now i’m not paranoid but when I used to go into dark terminals in the bad parts of Jacksonville and Orlando on the way to Miami in the middle of the night i was right in the middle of crack heads, drug dealers, and prostitutes and you better believe I had a flashlight in one hand and a gun in the other all while I was hooking trailers. Talk about multitasking! I could also pour coffee from a thermos while going through 13 gears and talking on the CB at the same time but that’s another story. (laughing )

I am so thankful for Linda and Michael Dlouhy for having and using the sixth sense to know that many others needed what they learned the hard way from their previous experience in MLM.And thankful for my friends and mastermind partners that I have shared this wonderful journey that we have been on.
