CHAPTER 14-THE SIXTH SENSE

Within each of us is a portion of the subconscious mind which
has been referred to as the creative imagination or the sixth
sense
. There is in the cell structure of the brain an organ
that receives vibrations of thoughts, those ideas, plans, and
thoughts flash into the mind called "hunches" or "inspirations."
The question I have asked of myself is “ARE YOU LISTENING”?

“The sixth sense defies description! It cannot be described
to a person who has not mastered the other principles of this
philosophy, because such a person has no knowledge and no
experience with which the sixth sense may be compared. Under-
standing of the sixth sense comes only by meditation through
mind development from within. The sixth sense probably is the
medium of contact between the finite mind of man and Infinite
Intelligence, and for this reason, it is a mixture of both the
mental and the spiritual
. It is believed to be the point at
which the mind of man contacts the Universal Mind.” Napoleon Hill

“The sixth sense is at the core of our experiences. It is what
makes experiences out of events.” Henry Reed

For me to better understand the power of the sixth sense I turn
to primary council member my Lord where I am reminded, “Your
word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” Psalm 119:105

Like Hill, I have found those who have inspired me such a Charles
Lindbergh, who faced the challenge of flying solo for 33 hours to be
the first to cross the Atlantic. From him, I have learned to face
challenges as they come no matter how long it takes. There is
the courage of Jimmy Dolittle who climbed into the blacken-out cockpit
to take off and landed a plane flying on instruments alone for the
first making flying safer for everyone. There is also Billy Graham
whose faith led him to become the evangelist to the world and takes
him around the world to proclaim the good news. I know my faith will
take me to where God wants me to be and to have.

I am also reminded of the fortitude of Linda and Michael that led
them to fall forward for the first 10 years, with Michael joining
100 companies to discover the five pillars that it takes for making
a sound company and business. Taking those findings to build this
mastermind, writing “Success in 10 Steps”, “Powerful Secrets”, and
“Colors to Success”.

PS: “My sixth sense uses the other five senses to communicate. I may
have a vision, hear a sound, get a smell, or have a physical sensation
that corresponds with how someone passed. What I do revolves around
‚Äčnoticing subtle differences in my mind and body - because they're messages.” Tyler Henry
