Chapter 4- Auto-Suggestion

“The actual performance of transmuting desire into money involves
the use of auto-suggestion as an agency by which one may reach,
and influence, the subconscious mind. The other principles are
simply tools with which to apply auto-suggestion. Keep this thought
in mind, and you will, at all times, be conscious of the important
part the principle of auto-suggestion is to play in your efforts
to accumulate money through the methods described in this book.”
Napoleon Hill

To be able to use auto-suggestion or self-talk largely depends on
the magnitude of concentration a given desire until it becomes a
burning obsession.

Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives.
Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing
psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.”
Colossian 3:16

To “fill your life” for me calls for self-talk with heightened
emotion with total focus (concentration) on whatever I desire, so as
to fan it to a white-hot passion. This is the reason I use the deep
the love I have for Connie to make me a better mentor, coach, leader, and
network marketer.

“Here is a most significant fact—the subconscious mind takes any
orders given it in a spirit of absolute faith, and acts upon those
orders, although the orders often have to be presented over and over
again, through repetition, before they are interpreted by the
subconscious mind. Following the preceding statement, consider the
possibility of playing a perfectly legitimate “trick” on your sub-
conscious mind, by making it believable, because you believe it, that
you must have the amount of money you are visualizing, that this
money is already awaiting your claim, that the subconscious mind
MUST hand over to you practical plans for acquiring the money which
is yours.” Napoleon Hill

“There can only be one state of mind as you approach any profound
test; total concentration, a spirit of togetherness, and strength.”
Pat Riley

Everything in life is a test: a test of how I think, what I think,
what my inter-voice is telling me daily. Furthermore, it is a test
of who I am going to listen to and following, and what reality I
am broadcasting to myself and the world around me.

Thanks to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for showing me how to speak and
visualize the reality we desire into the life I want. Many kudos
to everyone who participates in the Mentoring for Free mastermind
for the brilliance you bring to the table every week.
