Go to Branson, Missouri and you will find the largest ball of nylon twine
in the world. It is 41.5 feet in circumference and weighs 12,000 pounds.
From 1987 to 1991, a man known as J.C. Payne collected nylon twine from as
many neighboring dairies and ranches as he could. Then, he set to rolling
what was sure to become a world record-holder! Payne had his creation
verified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest ball of nylon
twine in the world and soon thought of a way to make a profit off of his
prized record-breaker. In 1993, Payne sold his nylon twine ball to the
Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum–and some people claim that he made $25,000
dollars in doing so!
Much like this huge ball of twine, most people have wrapped themselves up in
a giant ball of fears or as Hill says the ghosts of fear. Fear warped by
indecision and doubt. Hill states, “Indecision is the seedling of fear! Remember
this, as you read. Indecision crystallizes into doubt, the two blends and become fear! The "blending" process often is slow. This is one reason why these three
enemies are so dangerous. They germinate and grow without their presence being
observed.
It matters not which of the ghosts of fear, poverty, criticism, ill health, loss
of love, old age, or death, all are started by some doubt or indecision planted
in the subconscious mind and used to block the hearts and spirit of all mankind.

I have a choice not to allow those ghosts to control and direct my mind or to
take control of the subconscious mind, by planting a positive message of hope,
faith, and love shining the light of truth on those ghosts.
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you
remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will
set you free.” John 8:31.32

One of the best gifts I have received from reading “Success in 10 Steps”,
participating in Mentoring for Free, and this study of “Think and Grow Rich”
is having the light of truth to drive back the darkness of the negativism of
the world around me. To have revealed the truth about this industry of network
marketing and open the door to a better way to live, a life of hope, and
positive energy.
