Do you ever have a day when you feel sluggish, unmotivated, and down?  You should make a phone call, send an e-mail, write a card, or even say hello to someone new?  You just don’t feel like it.  You are on a streak of no interest along with the multitude of other distractions in your life.

I do from time to time.  Today felt a bit like that.  Besides business I am training, work part time, and most importantly have a family.  Today was rather hot for a Minnesota Summer day.  I was scheduled to work, and did not have enough time to get in a workout or do some tasks for the business.  Not only did I feel guilty it was kind of a lousy day working.  I would rather been home doing an online meeting, meeting someone new, and getting my workout in.

Well there is tomorrow, I need to get a focused workout in work the business.  Missing a day is okay, but you cannot make it a habit.

One needs to be persistent in their quest for financial freedom or anything that is life changing in a positive way.  If one lacks persistence he or she will fail in the long haul.    With persistence you will win.

According to Hill, “Without persistence, you will be defeated, even before you start. With Persistence, you will win.”

I remember one of my swim coaches saying one time. To improve you need to work hard, plus you have got to do it, day in and day out. Some days you will be flat out exhausted and do not feel that you can do another lap.  Keep in mind why you are a swimmer and what you desire to accomplish.

As Hill states, the lack of persistence can be from a lack of desire.

The same is no different for this business.  As said before the concept of Network Marketing is simple.  Network Marketing, however, is not easy. Everybody here is involved with a five-pillar company.  We offer great products or services, which can make a positive impact on the lives of many.  We as well have an opportunity, which can help others gain more financial control and security for their families.

The difficult part is many will not see it. Not the first time anyway. We have to build relationships by following up and keeping in touch. This could take some time possibly years for some.  That requires persistence.

Some of course will never come around, which is okay.

Mentoring for Free is a great place for support and mentorship.  Thank you Michael and Linda Dlouhy for this wonderful program. Thank you Rick Burnett for reaching out to me.  Thank you to everyone who participates on these weekly calls.

Because of authors like Napoleon Hill and folks like you, I find it easier to keep plugging away and stay persistent in writing this week’s lesson.
