Chapter 8 Decision: The Mastery
Of Procrastination

“Those who reach decisions promptly and definitely, know what
they want, and generally get it. The leaders in every walk of
life DECIDE quickly, and firmly. That is the major reason why
they are leaders. The world has the habit of making room for
the man whose words and actions show that he knows where he
is going.” Napoleon Hill

One of the major obstacles in making decisions and being slow
to change
is being overtly influenced by the opinions of others.
The dependency on the opinions of others can be the absence of
one’s desire. Hill states, “Keep your own counsel when you
begin to put into practice the principles described here, by
reaching your own decisions and following them. Take no one into
your confidence, except the members of your “mastermind” group,
and be very sure in your selection of this group, that you choose
only those who will be in complete sympathy and harmony with your
purpose.

A huge pothole on the path to making decisions will most often be
the lack of action, as the quote goes “Tell the world what you
intend to do, but first show it” Just remember “deeds, and not
words, are what count most.”

"Decision is the spark that ignites action. Until a decision is made,
nothing happens, Decision is the courageous facing of issues,
knowing that if they are not faced  problems will remain forever
unanswered." Wilferd Peterson

It was the decision of just two men hich fostered and lead to the
freedom we now enjoy in these united states of America. A decision
based on faith and courage fortified by action.

A decision to build a network marketing business will not endanger
\one’s life, on the contrary, it may the wisest choice anyone can make
for themselves, their children, and their children’s children. The
decision does require faith to find a plan, courage to work the plan,
and the will to act upon the plan for as long as it takes.

Thanks to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for the decision you made in 1998
to create a system to help networkers around the world in personal
development, skills, and tools to become the network marketer they
desired to be and fostering faith and belief in them. My deep
gratitude to everyone who participates in Mentoring for Free for
the value you bring to the mastermind.

PS: “A hallmark of a healthy creative culture is that its people
feel free to share ideas, opinions, and criticisms. Our decision-
making is better when we draw on the collective knowledge and
unvarnished opinions of the group.” Edwin Catmull
