Chapter 6 Imagination.

Imagination is a tool, a powerful tool. However, like so many other tools like hammers, skill
saws, money, Plumb bob, level or transit they are neither a Positive or Negative Force by
themselves
just sitting in Your tool box it’s all in HOW You USE the tools.

You will not be successful if You lack an imagination.  You need to see yourself succeeding at
whatever You are doing.  This goes for every area of Your life.

There are TWO FORMS OF IMAGINATION

One is known as “synthetic imagination,” and the other as “creative imagination.”

SYNTHETIC IMAGINATION:—Through this faculty, one may arrange old concepts, ideas,
or plans into new combinations. This faculty creates nothing. It merely works with the
material of experience, education, and observation with which it is fed.

It is the faculty used most by the inventor, with the exception of the who draws upon the
creative imagination, when he cannot solve his problem through synthetic imagination.

CREATIVE IMAGINATION:—Through the faculty of creative imagination, the finite mind
of man has direct communication with Infinite Intelligence. It is the faculty through which
“hunches” and “inspirations” are received. It is by this faculty that all basic, or new ideas
are handed over to man.

It is through this faculty that thought vibrations from the minds of others are received. It
is through this faculty that one individual may “tune in,” or communicate with the
subconscious minds of other men.

Remember, How You Do Anything Is How You Do Everything.

Chapter 6 Imagination.

Imagination – The Work Shop of the Mind

Our imagination can create anything we can Imagine. As I read this chapter,
I thought about the story of two small boys playing in their backward.

One said wouldn’t it be great to have a pool on our yard. One said, great idea,
we should build two pools, one for you and one for me.

Our only laminations to our imaginations are those that we place on it. These
imaginations are our desires, our dreams and our goals.

The opportunities in network marketing are unlimited and open to anyone who
will see the vision and take the action. The only thing that will stop me is
just me not taking the opportunities and run with them.

Coming to Mentoring for Free I have found a system, tools, encouragement,
and support to make me 10-feet tall and bulletproof, and just like Connie’s
animal spirit the rhino.

I too can be tough-skinned, charge ahead and gently help those I care about,
building the future most people only dream about or wish to have.

But without it we go nowhere.” Carl Sagan

One of the oldest franchise in the NFL was fouded back in the 1930s,
nearing the end of the 1960s they were  known as the losing franchise
in the NFL, they were the laughing stock of the NFL.

In the late 1960s a new coaching staff was hired, the coaching staff
went across country looking for good talent from winning programs.

The first two years not much happened, people who were use to winning
got upset because they were not winning, the coaching staff kept being
positive.

The 2nd year they started winning a few football games,  the belief in their
self begain to grow, the belief in their team mates begain to grow, the belief
in their coaching staff begain to take root.

Their Imaginations and Desire grew into winning a Super Bowl, they went
on to win four Super Bowls in six years.

Winning is a habit, unfortunately so is losing......... Vince Lombardi,

Here’s an example:  Right now, one of my sons is helping his girlfriend’s
father sell a small 20 acre island he bought many years ago.

I see Hill’s characteristics in their actions.  The Desire from both my son
and her father is to make money.  They have Faith that it can be done as
it is a desirable property & other islands near it have been sold and
developed & are prospering.

I know they are using Autosuggestion and see the outcome as favorable
as they are now collecting Specialized Knowledge about the sale and
development of similar areas.

As they enter into the Imagination stage and are still collecting information,
the desire has leaned toward keeping ownership and renovating and adding
to the 8 existing buildings for the purpose of making money and having
access themselves.

To appeal to tourists, they realize the benefit that, though small, it is only 8
minutes by boat from the mainland with facilities for health needs and shopping,
which also inspires them on.  So far, without recently studying Hill’s path through
Chapter 6, though they have done it in the past, they have followed it to a T.

The vast majority of the living human race is ordinary mortal human beings.
A majority goes about their lives in the ordinary stages of life: infant, childhood,
young adult, middle age, and Golden Age.

There is nothing wrong with that and most can have a comfortable life. Well in
this Country anyway.   A very small number, however, will accomplish extraordinary things.

This has happened in athletics. Michael Jordan was another ordinary teenage
athlete in Wilmington, North Carolina trying to make it on the High School Basketball
team.

On the surface there was nothing special and he was cut from the Varsity Basketball
team. The coach even told him that he did not have what it takes to make it.  Well this
did not stop Michael.

He practiced for hours every day shooting basket after basket. He not only made
the Varsity team the next year and beyond.  He received an athletic scholarship to
the University of North Carolina where he became an All American.

Then he went on the NBA, where in my opinion became the best that ever played.

He not only had the desire and determination, he had an imagination.  He went from
an ordinary athlete to the most extraordinary.

The bottom line of Imagination is the idea. Brainstorming for it, testing to see what
works and what doesn't no different from a lab assignment and doing it over & over
till you find something that works!

Tuula's lesson with the blank sheet of paper is so true and relevant.

Its time to imagine one big goal and achieve that goal.

Chapter 6 on imagination; both creative and synthetic was fascinating. I particularly
enjoyed the story of Asa Candler's "Enchanted Kettle". It's product, Coca Cola, was
a major contributor to the growth of Atlanta, GA!

Even today Warren Buffet has major holdings in Coca Cola stocks. His favorite  drink
is Diet Cherry Coca Cola. The original formula was sold by a doctor to Asa Candler,
a drug store employee, for $500. His life savings! Nice investment!
