Chapter 4 – Autosuggestion
Hill states in this Chapter “Your subconscious mind recognizes and

When we were told to craft our personal self talk I crafted mine with the
things I needed to grow in personally in order to become the person
people would know, like and trust.
So in my self Talk I used the words happy, confident and grateful.
The dictionary says happy is feeling pleasure and enjoyment because
of Your life and situation.
Confident, the dictionary describes as “having a feeling or belief that you can do
something well or succeed, and gratitude is thankfulness.
I was happy doing Network Marketing but I lacked confidence in
We have 10 calls each week where we learn what we need to do
to build our business and in order to really grow and become that person
others want to be in business with we have to display confidence in
what we do and have to offer. If fear is there, confidence is not.
I did not believe I had anything to contribute to the calls and believed I was
not able write lesson plans worth reading. With that part I was not happy.
So confidence was at the top of my list of characteristics I needed.
I wanted to acknowledge my gratefulness to God for He is the one
who blesses me as I live my life and build my business according to His will by
being a servant with a servants heart.
I wanted to be a positive example and influence. Without confidence
you cannot be a positive example or influence.
As I began to say my self talk daily, believing and trusting with faith,
I began to change. I forced myself to speak up on the calls, continued
to write lesson plans and speak to people about my products and business.
It took some time but eventually I gained confidence.
I now speak up on the calls, I share my products and opportunity,
and I contribute and share in my lesson plans what I learn from my heart.
I now build my business knowing I cannot fail.
“I am happy, confident and grateful, for God is blessing me and I
Am a positive example and influence in all areas of my life.”
What we say to ourselves is the biggest influence we have in our
lives. We need to craft our self talk wisely.

But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates."
