You can turn of the TV, Radio, Computer and multiple

electronic devices.  You, however, can never shut of your Subconscious Mind.

 

We do not have complete control of our subconscious mind all the time. We, however, need to do our best to influence our subconscious with positive vibes and emotions instead of negative vibes and emotions. 

 

According to Hill, the subconscious mind is more susceptible to influence by impulses of thought mixed with feeling or emotion than by originating solely by the reasoning portion of the mind.

 

Therefore one needs to become familiar with the most important of the emotions.

 

There are Seven Major Positive Emotions: DESIRE, FAITH, LOVE, SEX, ENTHUSIASM, ROMANCE and HOPE.

 

There are Seven Major Negative Emotions: FEAR, JEALOUSY, HATRED, REVENGE, GREED, SUPERSTITION, and ANGER.

 

Positive and Negative Emotions cannot occupy our mind at the same time.  One or the other is in our subconscious driver seat.  As said before we do not have complete control over our subconscious all the time.  We, however, have control a majority of the time.   

 

Most will make little effort to control what goes in out of their subconscious mind.  They will fall in the trap of watching the News, trashy TV shows, and hanging around folks with negative attitudes and outlooks.  Next thing you know the Negative Emotions have got control of your subconscious.  This individual most likely will live a life of quiet desperation and even become a Debbie Downer.

 

There is a chance one will attract other folks living the same desperate life.  Many will sit around and make excuses and blame others for their situation.   As many say,  “Misery Loves Company.” 

 

There is plenty of this going on today.  Just turn on the news.  The media and a number of prominent politicians today are all about the Victim Mentality.  Not because they care, or necessarily believe this? They do it for power and control, which they have when folks are desperate and miserable.

 

A few, however, will develop and practice good habits of what they listen too, read, watch, and who they hang out with a majority of the time.  This takes more effort, discipline and at times will seem uncomfortable.  These habits, however, in time will pay of.  You, as well will feel better both mentally and physically and be happy.  In turn positive and motivated individuals will want to be around you. 

 

It is our choice.  I choose the positive route.  Not only will I be successful in my Direct Sales Business, I will be successful in all areas of my life.

 

This lesson is a reminder of why I am involved with Mentoring for Free.  Mentoring for Free teaches us how to think, not what to think.

 

I, as well, agree with Michael, that we best not get sucked into the twenty-four hour news cycle.
