Chapter 6

Imagination

THE WORKSHOP OF THE MIND

The Fifth Step Towards Riches

Read Napolean Hill’s entire book through, then come back to Chapter 6, and begin at once to put your imagination to work on the building of a plan, or plans, for the transformation of your DESIRE into money. Detailed instructions for the building of plans have been given in almost every chapter. Carry out the instructions best suited to your needs, reduce your plan to writing, if you haven’t already done so. The moment you complete this, you will have DEFINITELY given concrete form to the intangible DESIRE. Read the preceding sentence once more. Read it aloud, very slowly, and as you do so, remember that the moment you reduce the statement of your desire, and a plan for its realization, to writing, you have actually TAKEN THE FIRST of a series of steps, which enable you to convert thought into its physical counterpart.

                                                                                                                                                        --Hill

I’ve been with MFF for two years and nine months, now. This Master Mind Group, never seems anything, but amazing! When Nathan Grimes, my mentor, introduced me to this group, I started growing and I’m still growing.

All the amazing stories by Napolean Hill, really make the gears in my brain turn. Like “Three Feet from Gold”, which inspires me to never give up on my dreams. “The Little Colored Girl”, which taught me to be bold in my business. Etc., etc., etc. The list goes on and on. This book taught me to be a critical thinker and how to think and not what to think. How to use my imagination and tap into Infinite Intelligence for help.

My mom just passed away on the 8th of March and her funeral was on my 50th birthday. I even had a birthday party at the wake! I held her hand and she held mine, till she passed away into the afterlife from a massive stroke. I’ve never seen anyone die before. My Dad passed away on Thanksgiving Day of 1996 from throat cancer. I missed his death by 10 minutes. He was a fighter. Diagnosed in January of 1988 and caught six months too late, with a 30% survival rate. He never looked at those odds and never gave up! That’s why he lived 9 years, beating cancer 3 times and records at the Doctor’s office! I learned a lot from my Mom and Dad. My Dad taught me to never give up and my Mom taught me to be kind to one another. Traits necessary to run a business.

My Dad, after 7 years of fighting cancer, was on his death bed. He was staring up at the corner of the ceiling. My Mom asked what he saw. He said, “Put it this way, God don’t want me and the devil don’t want me either!” Lol! That was my Dad!

The next day, he was working on the lawn mower, and my brother said, “Weren’t you on your death bed!” Then he got a feeding tube, and had to pour Ensure down the tube to his stomach, because he had so much scar tissue in his throat, from radiation, that he couldn’t eat, and lived another two years! A fighter!

Always appreciate your Mom and Dad, because one day they won’t be there, but always in Spirit.

As a matter of fact, Spirits are real! After my Mom passed away, I saw a blurry entity floating around the room at the speed of light! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me from being awake for over 30 hours, due to working 12-hour days, from 7pm to 7am. I called my brother to check on her at 8am after work because I called her at 6pm the night before, and thought it was odd that she wasn’t home two days in a row. She had hit her head on the toilet from the stroke and was laying there on the bathroom floor for two or three days till my brother found her. The family got to visit with her the last day of her life. The nurse said that someone else in the next room had a similar experience. That the blurry entity was definitely her Spirit! Then as I left the hospital, I saw a Giant Angel fade away. The Angel took my Mom to Heaven!

Also, I remember someone mentioning from the Master Mind Group, that when your life flashes before your eyes, it’s your brain shutting down. Just like my Mom’s brain from the massive stroke.

Thank you, Michael Dlouhy, for this Master Mind group and Nathan Grimes for introducing me to the Group.
