There is no substitute for persistence! It cannot be supplanted
by any other quality! Remember this, and it will hearten you, in
the beginning, when the going may seem difficult and slow. Those
who have cultivated the habit of persistence seem to enjoy
insurance against failure. No matter how many times they are
defeated, they finally arrive up toward the top of the ladder.

“Sometimes it appears that there is a hidden Guide whose duty is
to test men through all sorts of discouraging experiences.

“Those who pick themselves up after defeat and keep on trying,
arrive; and the world cries, “Bravo! I knew you could do it!” The
hidden Guide lets no one enjoy great achievement without passing
the persistence test. Those who can’t take it, simply do not make
the grade. Those who can “take it” are bountifully rewarded for
their persistence. They receive, as their compensation, whatever
goal they are pursuing. That is not all! They receive something
infinitely more important than material compensation—the knowledge
that ‘Every failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent
Napoleon Hill

Today, Jeff Bezos is the first person in history with a net worth
over 200 billion dollars. He started Amazon in 1994 with an
investment from his parents of $300,000 selling books online. He
told his investor the day he started that has a 70% chance the
business would fail or go bankrupt. 3 years later he took the company
public and started expanding in other markets and products. Did he
have failures? YES! Did he see possible bankruptcy, came close! How
he did reach the height he is today, just one word: persistence.

“Never underestimate the power of persistence. If you keep at it
with much persistence surely you cannot fail. While you may encounter
failure along the way, you haven’t failed unless you have accepted
failure and given up on trying.” Lisa Ryan

Throughout the many years that I have been around network marketing,
I have heard the statement "Be here a year from now" many times. I
have little doubt if Napoleon Hill were writing to a group of networkers
today, he would be speaking about persistence using these very words
“Be here a year from now!”.

Most people come to network marketing and Mentoring for Free looking
for the magic potion, with the attitude “I will give this 30 days or
a couple of months or I will get on a few calls and listen, write some
lessons, but if I don’t see results I am gone.” They failed one of the
most important principles from Napoleon Hill the practice of persistence.
There is no faith without persistence! There are no fulfilling desires
without persistence! There is no joy without persistence!

I choose to live in now, stay persistent remembering every day is the
beginning of another “Be here a year from now!”

Many thanks and much gratitude to Linda and Michael Dlouhy and the
entire Mentoring for Free family for your constant persistence in
being here and sharing your gifts of support, encouragement, and wisdom.
