Hill tells us “Just what young Barnes said to Mr. Edison on that occasion was far less important than that which he thought. Edison, himself, said so! It could not have been the young man’s appearance which got him his start in the Edison office, for that was definitely against him. It was what he THOUGHT that counted. If the significance of this statement could be conveyed to every person who reads it, there would be no need for the remainder of this book.

And isn’t it nice to know that we only have control of one thing in life and that is our thoughts? Thoughts have the power to either lift up or destroy, positive of negative. A lot of people are using a strategy on social media that is bringing great results. But that keeps you in social media a whole lot.

Since the first of this year it’s been hard being on on social media and guarding your thoughts. Seems like for every 5 posts that are negative about all the china virus and anarchy going on there might be one positive. Kinda like picking up dog poop with a kleenex instead of a shovel. You have to be very careful or you will get it all over you. You will get sucked down into negativity like the powerful vacuum on a pneumatic tanker. ( Thing will suck your arm off your body)

And we learned that it only took one negative to completely mess up all the positive. I was listening to a company call last night that I really like. One of the young ladies who was a top leader and had just achieved another rank was asked if she did personal development and she said yes she had been working at it hard for 4 years but she still couldn’t get past some hidden limiting beliefs about her worthiness and a few other things and sought a counselor for help with them which finally worked. When those self limiting beliefs get planted in our subconcious minds all through our lives by various sources they can be really hard to break and sometimes have to be searched for carefully because we aren't even aware of them. That's why Hill gives us the questions he does so we can do self analyzations of ourselves. Sometimes it's hard to see ourselves as we really are with all the faults and he cautions that if we can't do it ourselves then we should get someone who knows us well and can help us do so.

Thanks to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for providing this mastermind to help us keep our thoughts in line and running in the right direction and thanks to all my friends and mastermind partners for the friendship and mind melding!
