CHAPTER 14-THE SIXTH SENSE

“The SIXTH SENSE is that portion of the subconscious mind which
has been referred to as the creative imagination. It has also been
referred to as the "receiving set" through which ideas, plans, and
thoughts flash into the mind. The "flashes" are sometimes called
"hunches" or "inspirations."

“The sixth sense defies description! It cannot be described to
a person who has not mastered the other principles of this philosophy,
because such a person has no knowledge and no experience with
which the sixth sense may be compared. Understanding of the sixth
sense comes only by meditation through mind development from within.
The sixth sense probably is the medium of contact between the finite
mind of man and Infinite Intelligence, and for this reason, it is a mixture
of both the mental and the spiritual.
It is believed to be the point
at which the mind of man contacts the Universal Mind.” Napoleon Hill

The sixth sense a mixture of the mental and spiritual. The ability to
perceive the subtle or indefinite dimension that the unseen world of
angels, ghosts, Heaven, the spiritual realm, etc. Whatever you call
it, gut instinct or intuition, it is our ability to subconsciously know or
suspect something beyond the realm of conscious reasoning.

All humans and animals have a sixth sense and sometimes when we
are in danger, we can feel it. The problem is that our physical senses
have become dull and we have lost touch with our sixth sense.
Activating our sixth sense is a spiritual necessity because this special
ability can help us in all aspects of life, from relationships to major life
decisions.

This chapter has shown or awaken me to the following necessities:

1) Pay attention, slow down, and train myself to notice even the smallest
things around me. Make time for myself, stop, and acknowledge what my
intuition is telling me.

2) Feel the Vibes! I sense someone looking at me and then turned
around and see I was right. My danger alarm goes out before anything
bad has happened. Don't ignore these signals and take appropriate
action. Feel the vibes because they are actually messages from my
subconscious mind that are trying to warn me.

3) Taking time to meditate, to be quiet, and close my mind to
the noise of the world for it is a great exercise for my brain
because it improves focus and concentration.
