Think & Grow Rich Lessons

I liked the A.N.T analogy about the automatic negative thoughts from Michael Simon’s lesson. In fact I had just been listening to an audio program by Harv Eker called Inner Power as I do always at the gym and It always has even more of a special meaning as we come on to this chapter. Oh, by the way I would highly recommend this audio program to anyone who wants to add to the TAGR study of the subconscious mind and how to make it work to your advantage. I am not associated with Eker or make any commissions in any way, it’s just THAT good. I’m sure you can do a search for it if interested.

But the subconscious mind can either take you to riches or take you all the way out of the game. How? Well Eker explains that there is a part of it called the medulla and it’s only job is to warn you of danger ( and constantly doing so ) and to it the danger of success is just as real so it tries to protect you from getting out of your comfort zone. It’s only by stepping up the vibration of our self talk to the level that it can be communicated to infinite intelligence..or God to me..and being persistent enough doing it. Eker says that three of the most dangerous words to avoid are I KNOW That. I have to gaurd myself against those words. My company has a lot of young girls who are already millionaires before the age of 25. I'm 66 and it's so easy to think you know more than someone younger. If that was the case I'd already be one. Anyway I learned of another great book about habits called Atomic Habits that has a whole lot to do with the subconcious and love it so far.

One thing that stuck out to me this time around is a sentence that came right after Ella Wilcox’s brilliant poem. “Mrs. Wilcox understood the truth, that thoughts which go out from one’s mind, also imbed themselves deeply in one’s subconscious mind, where they serve as a magnet, pattern, or blueprint by which the subconscious mind is influenced while translating them into their physical equivalent.” Hill Three years ago I had to really begin to work on myself to keep the negative thoughts out of my mind by turning off the news. Since all the insanity started with this China virus several months ago the news seems to have come to social media whether you wanted it or not. Seems like there are 15 negative posts for every one positive and you have to search hard for something good on there anymore. I felt that I had been slipping back into negativity through Facebook instead of the news because most people were just posting links of the news so in the last week I have been scrolling quickly past anything that I can spot is negative and avoiding it as well as anything negative than anyone sends me. And I'll make sure that I do not send out anything negative myself because I don't want anything embedded in my mind and drawing it right back to me like a magnet. I had been having less than pleasant thoughts about the anarchists that have been burning down the country I love and certainly don’t want those thoughts embedded in my mind. It’s a challenge being on social media anymore even though it’s huge in building your business. So we have to be ever more diligent in guarding our minds as we wade through the muck.

Thanks to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for giving us a platform to escape the insanity as we program positivity into our minds instead and thanks to my friends and mastermind partners for your great input every week and all I learn from it.
