“Faith draws the poison from every grief, takes the sting from every
loss and quenches the fire of every pain; and only faith can do it.”
J. G. Holland

“There comes, now, a statement which will give a better understanding
of the importance, the principle of auto-suggestion assumes in the
transmutation of desire into its physical, or monetary equivalent; namely:
Faith is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation
or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle
of autosuggestion.” Napoleon Hill

The definition of faith in the dictionary is: "complete trust or confidence
in someone or something."

Bruce Lee interpreted “faith," as to have trust and confidence in one’s self
and abilities. Bruce’s definition of faith is the spiritual power of man’s will.

Faith is health and healing to those who will find, receive and use it. This is
to say, if we give attention, incline our ears, do not look away (don’t get
distracted), and keep faith in the midst of our heart, then it will be health to
our mind, body and being. With strong faith, there won’t be room for worry, fear,
strife, and doubt.

Throughout history on the eve of any great battle, you would find soldiers in all
camps preparing for the next day. Some would be writing a letter to some loved one,
another in quiet solitude and prayer, and others in groups of shared brotherhood.
All will be preparing their tools of battle, weapons, and armor. Some will be seen
with a wet stone putting a sharp edge of a blade or sword, while others are cleaning
their guns or counting the ammo in the magazines.

All of these acts were the reaching out to their faith in family, in God, in their
brothers-in-arms, in their weapons, their training and finally in themselves. In
a way, it was their“Self-talk” to prepare for the day ahead.

I have witnessed faith in action many times over in the past 6plus years as Connie
has faced this illness that has attacked her body. She has made no claim to this illness
and she looks upon it as an enemy to be faced down. Even though she has been on
the mat many times she keeps pushing back. Has it been hard, YES! Has there been
tears, YES! Do you give up, NEVER!

With this understanding of faith, I come to the building if my network marketing business,
where more than ever is the need to hone, sharpen the tool of Faith. As Michael has
said many times the first key to my success in everything starts with my self-teach.
To ignite a burning desire, stoke it with a driving faith, sharpen daily by my self-talk.
All doubts, fears, negative thoughts, pains, and setbacks are quenched by the
power of my faith.

Thank you to Linda and Michael Dlouhy, all the mentors and partners at Mentoring for
Free for the gifts of our faith shared every week.

My love to all of you.
