Chapter 7 Organized Planning

You have learned that everything man creates or acquires, begins in the form of DESIRE, that desire is taken on the first lap of its journey, from the abstract to the concrete, into the workshop of the IMAGINATION, where PLANS for its transition are created and organized.  If the first plan which you adopt does not work successfully, replace it with a new plan, if this new plan fails to work, replace it, in turn with still another, and so on, until you find a plan which DOES WORK. Right here is the point at which the majority of men meet with failure, because of their lack of PERSISTENCE in creating new plans to take the place of those which fail.

The most intelligent man living cannot succeed in accumulating money—nor in any other undertaking—without plans which are practical and workable. Just keep this fact in mind, and remember when your plans fail, that temporary defeat is not permanent failure. It may only mean that your plans have not been sound. Build other plans. Start all over again.  – Hill

I recently attended my company convention.  I heard many inspiring stories.  At the end of the conference our CEO announced some very nice bonuses.  I’ve made a decision to get at least one of the bonuses!

I got a call from my supervisor this morning and he informed me that we have a mandatory at 11 AM.  This meeting was supposed to be to update everyone what’s going on with the company.  I was thinking maybe we’ve got some new contracts…The big boss Dennis advised that the company has decided to dissolve our department.  Some people we’re released immediately.  Me and 7 others were given a date of April 6, 2020 as last day of service.  I was planning to leave the company in about a year, but it looks like my plan was changed for me.  This has to be a sign that I must do more!!!    I’m adjusting my plan, but I’m most thankful that I have a plan B.

Thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for creating this amazing mastermind.  Thank you to all of my friends here at MFF.
