As I started reading today, the title seemed to jump
out to me causing me to stop, pause and think.
Persistence the sustained effort necessary to induce
Faith has long played a key role in my life the
very foundation for everything I have ever done in life.
I now realize it has been a sustained effort to build,
maintain, and secure my faith in all its forms.

Sustained effort to be continuous and permanent,
around-the-clock, ceaseless, unwavering, and wall-to-wall.

Persistence is a continued effort to do or achieve something
despite difficulties, failure, or opposition, to be

“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in
the Lord your labor is not in vain.” I Corinthians 15:58

In this passage, the apostle Paul calls for me be steadfast
(persistence), immovable (sustained), and always abounding
(making every effort) to build my faith with action. The
reward is given “your work will not in vain”.  Michael Dlouhy
would call that, “Being-All-In”.

“Will-power and desire, when properly combined, make an
irresistible pair. Men who accumulate great fortunes are
generally known as cold-blooded, and sometimes ruthless.
Often, they are misunderstood. What they have is willpower
which they mix with persistence, and place back of their
desires to ensure the attainment of their objectives
Napoleon Hill

Faith with a sustained effort is what gave me 50 years
with Connie the love of my life. With a persistence
commitment, I have chosen to walk in faith with my God,
sometimes questioning, with lots of searching, and
short-term doubts yet with an abiding faith.

With desire being the starting of all achievement, I
choose to build a stronger fire under my desire. I have
chosen Mentoring for Free as my power source using the
cooperative efforts of each member to develop and drive
that persistence which will take me to the next steps in life
and business. It has the persistence of every member, mentor
and coach that has cultivated the habit of persistence I
now choose to follow.

supplanted by any other quality! Remember this, and it
will hearten you, in the beginning, when the going may
seem difficult and slow. Those who have cultivated the
HABIT of persistence seems to enjoy insurance against
failure. No matter how many times they are defeated,
they finally arrive up toward the top of the ladder.”
Napoleon Hill

Thanks, Linda and Michael Dlouhy for using your persistence
to build and give us this platform for igniting our
persistence. Bob Shoaf thanks for the friendship,
encouragement, and support. Many thanks to my mastermind
family for the wisdom you share weekly. My deep gratitude
to everyone who downloaded “Success in 10 Step” and shares
this journey with me.
