Isn’t it strange that we sometimes think that a decision has to be a major thing and a life-changing event? It certainly was for the founding fathers and by the way, what a story that is! I never cease to be amazed at the bravery and the soundness of the decision that each and every one of them made at such a high risk of their very real loss of life. I am also amazed by the bravery of the people who sign up to serve our country even in the midst of a crisis that would put them at risk of the same fate, some almost still teenagers. In my opinion they are our country's greatest asset. That's why I get so upset when I see people who want to destroy our system and everything those people have risked and sacrificed for.
There are many small decisions made each and every day though, life is full of decisions..Making a call to someone who might be interested in your business, that's a decision! Following up with a client who just downloaded your ebook. Doing a lesson for our mastermind, that's a decision! Getting out of bed early instead of sleeping the day away, that’s a decision. The important thing is making that decision whether it's big or small and then backing it up with action. And if they are not made it's nothing less than procrastination. We might think the small ones are not that important, some are done by almost repetition but as Michael always says “how you do anything is how are you do everything”
I have made quite a few decisions in the last couple of months, some not so easy but necessary and now in the process of backing them up with action. I listened to the replay of the leadership call yesterday and heard Michael talk about getting ready to get ready to get ready and that's where I have been for so much of my life that I am sick of it. I have a picture on my dream board of a beach scene with three quotes on it that I read over and over every day and they are so true
If you don't go after what you want you will never have it.
If you don't ask the answer will always be no.
If you don't step forward you will always be in the same place
