Think & Grow Rich Lessons

Hill made the statement that Mr. Darby had never heard that more gold has been mined from the brains of men than has ever been taken from the earth. Wow!! That tells me that our thoughts are priceless! And that is the only thing that God gives us control over but it is huge and what a gift!

After all Barnes had nothing to his name but thoughts of working with Edison and when he added action to his desire to do so and was persistent until they materialized, magic happened and he was an instant millionaire when it did.

When I found out after reading this chapter that I could control my thoughts by choosing positive ones instead of the negative ones that come by default my life started changing. When I learned to believe that good things would happen instead of bad ones they started happening and fear started going away.

Hill also tells us that our brains become magnetized with the dominating thoughts which we hold in our minds, and, by means with which no man is familiar, these “magnets” attract to us the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts. When I think about it everything that I have really wanted bad enough has come to me so I’m convinced that if it’s not important enough to obsess and concentrate on the object or thing you want you most likely won’t get it.

Here is one example. I was out in Colorado a month ago staying with a high school friend of mine for a couple of days that I hadn't seen in over 30 years. He was really into flying drones which I have never really thought that much about but I love photography even though I'm an amateur and he explained that basically a drone is just a flying camera with the ability to get a lot of shots that I could've never have on the ground. HUGE AHA MOMENT! I didn't intend to but for some reason I got obsessed and fast forward one-month later and I have one sitting right next to me that I've flew for the first time over the weekend. And the biggest kicker is that I didn't go out and buy it. Just imagine if we got so obsessed about doing the same thing with our business instead of treating it like a hobby! Hmmmm!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy for your obsessive thoughts that lead to the platform that is helping so many people. And thank you to all my Friends in mastermind partners who share your brilliance with me each and every week. Also thanks to all who downloading my e-book and allow me to be a mentor to them.
