“Stand straight, walk proud, have a little faith.”
Garth Brooks

“All down the ages, the religionists have admonished struggling
humanity to “have faith” in this, that, and the other dogma or
creed, but they have failed to tell people HOW to have faith.
They have not stated that “faith is a state of mind, and that it
may be induced by self-suggestion.” In language which any
normal human being can understand, we will describe all that
is known about the principle through which FAITH may be
developed, where it does not already exist. Have Faith in yourself;
Faith in the Infinite.” Napoleon Hill

FAITH is a state of mind induced or created by affirmation or
repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, with the use of
our self-talk. It is of utmost importance to understand “What I
tell myself is what I will believe, and what I believe, my faith
is what I what will get.”
If it a belief of poverty, I receive poverty;
a belief of abundance, I will have an abundance. Be it a
faith in a life of sadness or a life filled with love, the result
will follow that faith. We have a choice and a decision to make.

You may convince the subconscious mind that what you believe you
will receive that for which you ask, and it will act upon that belief.
Your subconscious mind passes back to you in the form of “faith,”
followed by definite plans for procuring that which you desire.

“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith
and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication.
Remember all things are possible for those who believe.” Gail Devers

I have had to put myself before the mirror of self-confidence and apply
its formula on as daily routine. Demanding of myself persistent,
continuous action. concentrating my thoughts for thirty minutes daily,
thinking of the person I intend to become. Devoting the time needed to
repeat my self-talk with emotion. I have a clear written statement of
my definite chief aim in life.

Finally, I will follow Hills 5th instruction: “I fully realize that
no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and
justice, therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not
benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself
the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I
will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve
others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and
cynicism, by developing a love for all humanity, because I know that
a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I
will cause others to believe in me because I will believe in them,
and in myself.”
