Think and Grow Rich

Chapter 15

How to Outwit the Six Ghosts of Fear

WOW, the first sentence said it all. “Take inventory of yourself.” OUCH, that can be uncomfortable at best. It's hard for many of us to take a deep look into our psyche and acknowledge what we find. But it is so important to do so, if we want to become successful in all areas of our lives.

Napoleon wrote, “Before we can master an enemy, we must know its name, its habits, and its place of abode.” I'm sure everyone knows, at least the people here in our mastermind group know, that it resides in our minds-in our thoughts. Sometimes it is so firmly entrenched in our subconscious, that it would take a 'jack hammer' of auto suggestions to crack it.

I thought it was quite telling about fear when Napoleon goes on to say, “... determine which, if any, of the six fears have ATTACHED themselves to you. If you think about it, fear is like a blood sucking leach. Whether it is the fear of poverty, the fear of criticism, the fear of ill health, the fear of loss of love of someone, the fear of old age, or the fear of death, fear is destructive.

Fear drains and sometimes make worse, your self worth, self-esteem, self-respect, health, wealth, destroys hopes and dreams, common sense, and trust of self and others, just to mention a few of a person's most precious and essential features.

Napoleon wrote, “Without doubt, the most common weakness of all human beings is the habit of leaving their minds open to the negative influences of other people. This weakness is all the more damaging, because most people do not recognize that they are cursed by it, and many who acknowledge it, neglect or refuse to correct the evil until it becomes an uncontrollable part of their daily habits.”

Even those of us who are in MFF Mastermind Group are not completely free of fear, except maybe Michael. But one thing all of us have going for us, is that we are around positive and like-minded people where we all have a positive influence on one another.

I'd like to thank everyone in our Mastermind Group for all the positive vibrations I receive from you.
