Chapter 15

How to Outwit the Six Ghosts of Fear

Indecision doubt and fear prevent us from striving towards success.
We must overcome these three evils.
The Sixth Sense will not function unless we overcome indecention doubt indoubt and fear.
We start by seeing within us to locate six fears that overwhelm us. These fears are poverty, criticism, ill-health, loss of a loved one, old age and death.
Fears are a state of mind. Your state of mind will establish your fear. You have the ability to control your mind.
Although we cannot control thoughts we can decide what to do with each thought. As I always say if you don't mind it doesn't matter.
The following are my thoughts on two of the fears.

 The fear of poverty:

To overcome this fear, we must establish a desire for wealth and riches and how much.
Along with a state of mind with a definite purpose along with a plan and a goal.

Fear of Criticism:

Criticism robs a man of initiative, destroys power of imagination, limits individuality, stunts creativity, takes away self reliance, and destroys with in.
This is a big challenge because people say things without even thinking of the words and how it can harm a person. As the Scarecrow said, "some people without brains do a lot of talking".
The best way to conquer this is realize your abilities, skills, and creativity.
We must learn how to use constructive suggestion when correcting people. This will establish trusts and positive motivation.
We tend to say things like, "why did you do that" or "what were you thinking".
It would be best if we asked it in a directive maner. What were you exspecting to accomplise by doing it that way?
Since others do not understand how to use constructive suggestion and positive encouragement you must learn how to protect yourself.
In order to protect yourself from negative influences, acknowledge you have a willpower and use it to build inner support and develop ways to detract and handle negative influences.
Stand up with your beliefs and morals and do not permit others to influence your thoughts.
Thank you Michael and Bob for believing in me.
