CHAPTER 3 FAITH: The Second Step toward Riches

“There are no limitation to the mind except those we acknowledge.

Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought.”  Napoleon Hill

When God created man, he gave man a mind with the intent it was

to be used. But from the beginning, much of the time man has chosen

to live life of limitations. Some allowed others to do their thinking for them,

taking whatever is handed down. Others allowed their thoughts of poverty

ensnare their dreams and desires. Still, many are driven by the negative

emotions cast as “misfortune” or “bad luck.”

I say, “NO MORE.” I choose to change, to use this mind given to me by

my God. Emotionalize the thoughts and desires with faith. Faith in my God

and myself. As Mr. Hill wrote, “A mind dominated by positive emotions,

becomes a favorable abode for the state of mind known as faith. A mind

so dominated may, at will, give the subconscious mind instructions, which

it will accept and act upon immediately.”

The power of auto-suggestion has changed me and strengthened my faith.

I am amazed at the change that was come over me since I started really doing

my self-talk 100s times daily. I know I have a better outlook on life. I feel more

attune to my thoughts, desires, and faith. I know the victory is mine to have.

Truly, “Faith” is a state of mind, the “eternal elixir”, giving life, power, and

action to the impulse of thought.

I want to accumulate wealth: start with faith.

I want look for miracles: start with faith.

I want to defeat failure: start with faith.

I want direct communication with God: start with faith, mixed with prayer.

I want to transform my thoughts into spiritual equivalents: start with faith.

I want to lash on to the power of my God: start with faith.

In TGR we read, “Thoughts which a man deliberately places in his own

mind, and encourages with sympathy, and with which he mixes any one

or more of the emotions, constitute the motivating forces, which direct

and control his every movement, act, and deed!”

I will achieve my purpose by taking definite action. I will repeat my

self-talk, reminding myself of who I am and who I am becoming. I will

never stop until I reach my goals. I will serve others for that is what I am called.

In God I do trust, for I am made in his image and in his likeness. I am

wonderfully made and all things are possible in him. I do trust in my abilities,

talents, and skills, knowing everything else can be learned. I do trust the MFF

system and will continue to grow in the use of it.

Thanks the Michael and the MasterMind family for the support and leadership given.

PS: Faith isn’t the ability to believe long and far into the misty future.

It’s simply taking God at His Word and taking the next step.”
