To be successful in any area of live we need to be all in. That means being focused on what needs to be done and making sure to do it regardless of what else happens. And that is not always easy when the initial enthusiasm wears off.

Most of us join a network marketing company to have freedom, the freedom to do what we want when we want with whomever we want.

But in order to achieve that we have to be willing to do today what others won’t do so that we can, in the future, do what others will never be able to do.

That will also mean giving up some of our past times that we enjoy on a temporary basis.

So how do we do that?

The most important thing is to have a burning desire, a very strong WHY that makes us cry.

We need to want our freedom more than anything else in the world.

That is the fuel that drives us when things go wrong as they certainly will. It will give us the push to keep going when we here “no” to our products or business opportunity or when someone in our downline quits. That will happen and we need to keep on going because this is all part of building a business, whether is it an MLM or a traditional business.

Many distributors in my company have achieved phenomenal success in a very short time. I think that is because their backs were to the wall. They didn’t have a choice and their WHY definitely made them cry.

Many of us have average comfortable lives but we want more than an average life and we want to spread the good news so many others can do the same.

It’s important to remember that our products are not for everyone and neither is our business opportunity.

As Tom Big Al Schreiter tells us our job as network marketers is not to try to persuade anyone to do anything. Our job is to tell people about our products and opportunity and let them make their own decision, even if that means no.

Having a burning desire an intense WHY will keep us going till we reach the wonderful life and freedom that is possible to any network marketer who does not quit.
