Chapter 2 - Desire
Hill tells us “Only those who become “money conscious” ever accumulate
great riches. “Money consciousness” means that the mind has become
so thoroughly saturated with the DESIRE for money, that one can see
one’s self already in possession of it.”
“Five years passed before the chance Barnes had been seeking
made its appearance. During all those years not one ray of hope,
not one promise of attainment of his DESIRE had been held out
to him. To everyone, except himself, he appeared only another cog
in the Edison business wheel, but in his own mind,
HE WAS THE PARTNER OF EDISON EVERY MINUTE OF THE TIME,
from the very day that he first went to work there.”
Do we have the same kind of desire that Barnes had? Do we see
ourselves at the level in our business we want to be?
Do we see it when all our family and friends see us amongst all the
failures they knew who tried Network Marketing and failed?
In Barnes own mind, he was the partner of Edison every minute of the time.
What do we see for ourselves?
What do we see in our bank balance?
Do we see ourselves in possession of our desire every minute of the time?
Hill states “If you do not see great riches in your imagination, you will never see
them in your bank balance.”
