The Fifth Step toward Riches

I have a new gardening mentor, You Tube. I get ideas from a couple channels. The husband, Larry, has one channel and his wife, Janet, the other. I get ideas from them, then put them into practice.

I have two workshops, one is a 16' by 20' and the other is a 6' x 10'. I have my garden supplies and tools stored in them. They are the workshops of my mind where I take ideas and create real vegetable growing methods.

In early June, 2018, I found my first You Tube gardening techniques using 5 gallon buckets. I got some ideas from this channel. Then I found Janet and Larry and follow them closely, now.

The vegetable plants; tomatoes, cucumbers and pepper plants were planted. Light rains came and helped them get started.

Within a week, the tomato and cucumber plants started having brown spots on the leaves. I searched online and concluded the spots were a fungus. I sprayed with Neem oil and a few drops of dish soap. I sprayed both top and bottom of the leaves, then clipped of the infected leaves. The spots have not reappeared after another couple weeks.

Today, Sunday, I found a You Tube video by Janet, who had posted a video covering viruses, fungus and bugs. Her solution to the fungus included the Neem oil and soap, just a different kind of soap. The video also recommended a product, Actinovate that works very well and is an organic product also.

It was interesting that she sprayed first, then took the infected leaves off. That is what I did also, before having seen the video.

I live by "hunches or inspirations" while in social media. I am also using "hunches or inspirations" to solve issues that come up in my garden. It's interesting that I have searched both Janet and Larry's You Tube channels extensively. I had not seen Janet's video on diseases before.

In looking at Napoleon Hill's two forms of imagination; Synthetic and Creative, most of what I have done since early June has been Synthetic. The solving of the fungus issue, I believe was due to "hunches or inspirations", which is Creative Imagination.

Another instance of Creative Imagination occurred in late June. I purchased two tomato plants and one pepper plant. I planted them in the ground, rather than buckets. They were varieties I have not planted in the past. I thought I was picking them at random. Maybe not. So far they do not have signs of dying at ground level. I am testing these plants to see if they are affected by Fasarium wilt. They don't seem to be. Amazing. Three for three.

I am grateful to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for their BURNING DESIRE to follow their "hunches or inspirations" that has led to Mentoring For Free designed in the vain of what Napoleon Hill teaches in Think and Grow Rich. Thank You, thank You, thank You Linda and Michael Dlouhy for Your use of Creative Imagination on a daily basis.

I am grateful to each member of our training calls who participate. We are learning how to use "hunches or inspirations". Thank You, thank You, thank You to each one of You.
