Chapter 6: Imagination
We decide to build a Network Marketing business and we
are all excited with the thoughts of what we will accomplish
and the many ways we will change our lives by being successful
Then we begin doing our business and we have some success
and we have some failures and we find it is not as easy as
Our imagination begins to take over and we begin
to think of all the negative things that could happen when we
share the opportunity with others. Some say they are not
interested. Some tell us that will not work. Some tell us
it is too expensive, etc. etc. etc.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca has stated "We are more often frightened
than hurt; and we suffer more from imagination than from reality."
Are we going to allow ourselves to be frightened by what
people say when we offer them an oppotunity or a product that
could help them? Are we going to let our imagination scare us
from continuing to pursue our business because of the things
we think may happen?
We are in control, if we want to be. If we allow ourselves
to think and accept the negative we will live in the negative.
If we allow ourselves to think and accept the positive we will
live in the positive.
Jay S. Walker has stated "All of imagination - everything that
we think, we feel, we sense - comes through the human brain.
And once we create new patterns in this brain, once we shape
the brain in a new way, it never returns to its original shape."
And Gloria Steinem tells us "Without leaps of imagination,
or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming,
after all, is a form of planning."
Let us all dream and imagine with excitement in the positives.
