The bottom line of this chapter is that you need POWER TO ACCUMULATE MONEY AND MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THE POWER TO RETAIN MONEY. You need a team of people for that to happen and the knowledge can happen by being accumulated from a mastermind group and more important than that is being coachable by doing what your mentor had success does to earn the money and more important to keep the money. It takes coachablility and skills you learn plus teaching it to others.
You do NOT want to be DMX who is a rapper who accumulated multi-millions and today has a negative cash flow of ten million dollars. He blames a terrible upbringing. If he read the Slight Edge by Jeff Olson then his life would have been a whole lot different, look at the Blame Vs Responsiblity curve there.
The bottom line is that you need to develop a PLAN that works and have goals that have a deadline. Because the definition of a goal is a dream with a deadline. And like I mentioned previously if you have no goals then all you have made are wishes NOT decisions. Decision means that you cut all other options out. When you made a wish you haven't done so!! When you made a decision then there is no going back and remember that your plan is USEFUL only if you take action, if you do NOT then see that beginning of the chapter "Plans are USELESS without putting them into action." ACTION kills FEAR!! Which is the title of the last Chapter of "HOW TO OUTWIT THE SIX GHOSTS OF FEAR"
PS: Ray Montie was a top money earner in a network marketing company that went bankrupt 12 years ago mentioned to me to be careful before choosing a leader. I do not want to get into the story right now but he mentioned the leader who we spoke about was unreliable. What I am figuring from the conversation that I had with him is questions that Michael Dlouhy mentions in Success In Ten Steps quiz Anatomy of A Prospects MInd. I suggest you guys review it again!! One of the questions that I have is "Is that person reliable?" Which means is he doing what he said he would.
PPS: Another thing I can relate to is a battery you gotta choose your team for masterminding and your five key leaders as people whom you would want to be on a one month cruise with like Tom Big Al Schrieter mentioned to Michael Dlouhy "Never sponsor someone whom you would not want to be on a one month cruise with." And furthermore Mark Yarnell mentions ins his book "Your First Year Of Network Marketing the problem with most people is that they listen to the people who do not know what they are talking about." Choose your peers carefully because one negative person ruins everything. You do NOT want to have someone around who says the products are too expensive because there are 7 positive emotions out there FAITH, LOVE, SEX, DESIRE, HOPE, ROMANCE, ENTHUSIASM and PROSPERITY. And there is one negative emotion the whole thing is ruined. Negative emotions? We don't go there! As Bob Newhart says STOP IT!!
