THE WORKSHOP OF THE MIND

The Fifth Step toward Riches

It has been said that man can create anything which he can

imagine.  He has discovered that his own brain is both a

broadcasting and a receiving station for the vibration of

thought, and he is beginning now to learn how to make

practical use of this discovery.  MAN'S ONLY LIMITATION,

within reason, LIES IN HIS DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF HIS

IMAGINATION.

We have two forms of IMAGINATION, SYNTHETIC and

CREATIVE.

With synthetic we make use of formulas that have been used

and adapt other ways of using this information  while with

creative, we work with Infinite Intelligence to create something

that has never before been created.

Transformation of the intangible impulse of DESIRE into the

tangible reality, of MONEY, calls for the use of a plan or

plans.  These plans must be formed with the aid of imagination,

and mainly, with the synthetic faculty.

Hill gives us examples of starting with desire and turning it into

money in the Enchanted Kettle story i.e. the Coca-Cola story.

WHAT I WOULD DO IF I HAD A MILLION DOLLARS

Frank W. Gunsaulus observed in his college years that there

was a better way to educate the students -- that was learning

by doing.  He gave the matter a lot of thought and over a long

period of time and then made a decision to use his speaking

talent  -- He announced his sermon title through the newspaper.

Gunsaulus  had a DEFINITENESS OF PURPOSE.  -- He had

prayed about this matter -- prepared the sermon -- and left the

results in God's hands.

Sunday morning came and he delivered his message.

At the end of the message Phillip D. Armour came forward and

indicated that he believed in Gunsaulus and offered the million

dollars necessary to fund the Armour Institute of Technology.

It all started with DESIRE AND a DEFINITENESS OF PURPOSE.

Thanks to Michael and Linda Dlouhy for providing this platform  for

all of us to learn and grow into the people that we were meant to be.

Love to all
