Imagination: The Workshop of the Mind
The Author separate imagination into two abstract types, which are synthetic imagination, which simply rearranges existing ideas into new concepts, and creative imagination, which creates something from nothing. Transforming desire into money requires detailed plans, which come most often through synthetic imagination.
The author meaning of creative imagination suggest at the idea that riches come from hard work; more often, riches of great quantity have come from the reaction to definite demands, based upon the application of specific principle.
The author gives an example of what occurs when a creator of ideas and a seller of ideas get together and work in harmony. The results speak for themselves. The author stated “Whoever you are, wherever you may live, whatever occupation you may be engaged in, just remember in the future, every time you see the words “Coca-Cola,” that its vast empire of wealth and influence grew out of a single IDEA, and that the mysterious ingredient the drug clerk—Asa Candler —mixed with the secret formula was. . . IMAGINATION!
