“No man is ever whipped, until he QUITS—in his own mind.
This fact will be repeated many times, because it is so
easy to “take the count” at the first sign of defeat.

"When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans
are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more
toward your coveted goal. If you give up before your goal
has been reached, you are a “quitter.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have called you together as a
Mastermind for the purpose of helping me build my plan for a
well-define purpose in life. Let me begin by thanking you for
the wisdom you have shared in each of our previous meetings.
In this meeting I will discuss and implement each of your

At the top of the list I have written the need to approach
my aim with unwavering courage in myself and my abilities,
having no need to rely on having a title, but moving forward
with self-confidence.

I am following this with the practice of self-control, showing
no trance of intemperance toward myself or anyone else.
Furthermore, I am building a keen sense of justice with a
spirit of loyalty toward myself and those around me.

Your suggestions haved included having definiteness of decision,
which I choose to follow immediately and share with others
without the fear of competition of those who may surpass me.
I will match this with definiteness of plans by diligently
planning my work and working the plan daily putting my
imagination in gear.

I will gladly take up the habit of doing more than expected
or what I am paid to do. I will remember it is not about what
I “know,” but what I do with what I know.

A special thank for the reminder to always show a pleasing
personality with the willingness to render humble service.
It reminds me that Christ said He came to serve, not to be
served, and this it the path I will follow. I choose to follow
this by showing sympathy and understanding toward everyone I
meet. “Do unto others (first), as you would have them do unto

My plan is to be a master of detail, manifesting the ability
to organize, never being, “too busy” to change plans, admit
when I need help, and to face emergency. I will be ready and
willing to assume full responsibility, not passing the buck
or blaming others.

I choose to operate in the spirit of cooperation, knowing my
success come from the team around me. I will not allow
selfishness to cloud the joy of teamwork.

Thanks to Linda and Michael Dlouhy for the your sprit of
cooperation in building this mastermind group. Thanks to Bob
Shoaf for his spirit of support. Thanks to each of you on
the call for your spirit of encouragement. My special thanks
‚Äčto everyone who download the e-book and joins me on this journey.
