Chapter 5-Specialized Knowledge
Most people think that knowledge is power but Mr. Hill says that knowledge is only powerful if it is specialized and organized intelligently. What does he mean by this?
When a person goes to school he accumulates knowledge but is not told how to use this knowledge. This is where education comes in. The word education is derived from the latin word educo which means to draw out or develop from within.
An educated man is one who can acquire anything he wants by developing the faculties of his mind in such a way that he doesn’t violate the rights of others. An educated man knows where to go to get the knowledge he needs and to organize this knowledge into definite plans of action. A man with little schooling can become educated by using and organizing the resources available to him. These resources are the library, the internet, other people’s expertise.
In network marketing the biggest resource we have is our mastermind group. Anyone who wants to build a successful business has to have one or more people to consult with so he will not be put in a box that causes him to use habits that are not useful. Learning to cooperate and learn from one another in a spirit of perfect harmony is essential. Each one in the group has their expertise and is willing to share what they know. When the knowledge from all the group is put together in an organized way everyone benefits.
THIS IS USING SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.
