Chapter 9: Persistence
Man has no choice but to be persistent. He must keep going, at all costs. It is the only way to keep up with the naysayers.
When they say you cannot do it, you have to show them how it is done. You must latch on to "go getters". You must seek out those who think like you do.
One finds like-minded people in mentors and friends. These are the people that we "meet-up" with on a regular basis. In our case, we meet by telephone and on-line.
Some members meet up to nine times per week, for five days. This is just enough time stay encouraged. When we come together, we get to rethink some of our decisions during the rest of the day.
We need to persist as "stuff happens". In just one day, we experience so much that one minute you want to win; the next minute you want to quit. But, at the end of the day, "it is all good." So we go on...
Some of us have great spirits. We just wake up each day and pray. We connect with like minded friends and share positive affirmations. We exchange jokes too (lol).
The bottom line is that we support one another. We encourage each other. We believe in ourselves. That is the best way to get through the day.
Thank you Linda and Michael Dlouhy. Thank you MFF family.
