There's a time in our journey where we feel like letting go. We come up a fork in the road that has two signs. In one direction, the sign states “Let it go” and in the other direction, it states “Persistence.” At this point, we have to make a decision (which we just discussed last week). And we all know that decisions affect our life.
So which direction must we choose? That's all going to depend on you, and your desire for your goal. There will be some people who say that they can't take it anymore, and let it go. Then there are others who want to keep going, and will not give up until they reach their goal, no matter the time it takes to get there. Before you choose which direction to go, let me share a story of the famous J.K Rowling.
Most people know her as the author of the series, Harry Potter. What most people don't know is how many times she was denied to publish her story. At one point in her life, she was down to her last bit of money, divorced, and jobless. She knew that she had a choice to make on which director go. She decided to continue writing, and guess what? She was denied by seven different publishers! But it was the next one that gave her a shot, and the rest is history.
It always seems that the light comes after our darkest night. You have heard about J.K Rowling and other successful people, and their persistence. So I ask you again, which direction are you going to choose?
