CHAPTER 2: DESIRE

 

Desire, or burning desire is what  you require to obtain your goal. You must be driven. You must have a dream. You must really want it badly.

 

I feel the D stands for Discipline. They say that discipline determines your destiny. E stands for Enthusiasm. This gives you the energy to endure the journey. S is for Stamina. This stems from the drive that keeps

you going. I is for Intuition. This tells you went go right or left. R stands for Ready. When you arrive at your destiny, you will know. Finally, E is for Earnest. This is how sincere you must be about your

achievements.

 

The person with the burning desire must be driven. She must focus on what she wants, at all times. She must be determined to achieve her dreams.

 

This individual knows where she is going. She is moving forward despite the challenges. She is constantly, experiencing setbacks.Yet, she perseveres.

 

For instance, "When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping." (LOL) "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." (Smile) In other words, we have no choice but to cope with the hard times.

 

I think we endure because we believe there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We must keep on going. We have to be strong.

 

Therefore, we just put one foot in front of the other. We keep it real and keep it moving. In other words, we arrive at our destiny by first, dreaming. Then we design a plan of action . Eventually, we arrive.
