HOW TO OUTWIT THE SIX GHOSTS OF FEAR: CHAPTER 15

THE SIX GHOSTS OF FEAR ARE ALL ABOUT PESSIMISM. ONE CANNOT THINK POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE AT THE SAME TIME. AS THE NAME IMPLIES, THEY ARE GHOSTS. THEREFORE, THEY

EXIST ONLY TO HAUNT YOU.

 

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT THIS FEAR IS TO FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE. BASICALLY, ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE. STOP CONCENTRATING ON POVERTY. STOP THINKING ABOUT LOST LOVE ONES. THINK MORE ABOUT THE PRESENT, INSTEAD.

PRESENTLY, WE ARE IN THE NOW. THE PAST IS GONE AND THE FUTURE IS NOT HERE YET. THERE IS SO MUCH TO APPRECIATE IN THE PRESENT. TOMORROW, IT WILL BE THE PAST.

WHEN TOMORROW COMES, YESTERDAY IS ALREADY GONE. ALTHOUGH, WE TRY NOT TO HAVE REGRETS, WE HAVE A HABIT OF MISSING THE GOOD OLD DAYS. PRETTY SOON, TODAY WILL

BE "THE GOOD OLD DAYS."

 

WHY WE FOCUS ON FEAR , I DO NOT KNOW. ALL I KNOW IS, ONCE WE BECOME HOPEFUL, AGAIN, WE LOSE THAT FEAR. IN OTHER WORDS, WE THINK LESS ABOUT DEATH AND DYING. WE THINK MORE ABOUT BEING PROGRESSIVE AND PROSPEROUS.

 

FINALLY, WE ACCOMPLISH THIS GOOD ATTITUDE BY UTILIZING OUR POSITIVE "SELF TALK". WE ARE REMINDED THAT YOUR "ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE". ONCE WE SEE THE

RESULTS OF OUR "GOOD THOUGHTS", WE ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO THE RIGHT THING.
