Chapter 2 - Desire

Thank you to Lawrence Bergfeld for introducing me to this group today.  After listening to a recorded call, I felt I had found my tribe.

The teachings of Think & Grow Rich have been a part of my life for many years and I can honestly say something new speaks to me each time I read it.  Today there were two things in particular in chapter two which grabbed ahold of me.

The first one:  If you do not see great riches in your imagination, you will never see them in your bank balance.  Wow.  In my experience this is ot only true but important.  If you cannot attach the feeling you believe money will give you once you have it and actually feel it now with all 5 senses, it will be more difficult to acquire but not impossible.  This is all part of the imagination process ... imagining the feeling/emotion that goes with receiving and not just the actual dollar figure. The gratitude is a powerful magnet. It raises your vibration and attracts more things, people, opportunities and events for you to be grateful for overall.  So, the goal here, at least for me, is to remember to envision not only having the "riches" but to have it unfold organically through a specific equation of thoughts and actions attached to the emotions of what it is going to feel like once it's here ... then feel it now instead of waiting for it to show up.  Society brainwashes us to believe happiness comes from riches when in reality it is the other way around.

The second one:  Dreams are the seedlings of reality.  I believe the life we are living today is a direct result of our thoughts and choices of previous days, weeks, months, years, etc.  If we want something different, we must change the way we got to our destination and chart a new course.  If you want a new life, you need a new plan.  Plant that dream seed and water it with gratitude and watch it grow into something fabulous.  I have even gotten away from saying I am manifesting "x, y, z" because I truly believe we are only limited by our thoughts and beliefs and the goal is to get out of our own way.  If I am truly limitless possibility at any given moment then I do not need to "manifest" it, I simply need to "reveal" it.  Believing is key.
