When Hill said that more than 500 of the most successful men this country has ever known told him their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them.
Wow did that statement hit home.
I started Mentoring for Free 8 years ago,and is has been a challenging and very humbling experience.
Finding myself, who I am and where I want to go has been a real journey and I have learned that it is now a continuous journey and not a destination.
Over the past 8 years I have wanted to quit many times. I have even had well meaning friends and relatives tell me I should leave Mentoring For Free and go get a full time job.
But wait wait ...what if I am only three feet away from the gold. I could never live with myself knowing I was just three feet away from the gold and I quit.
Successful people do what others won't do. To be a success in network marketing it takes work, dedication and focus. I have come to discover that some people are all talk and no work. I hear folks say " I will be here a year from now and then six months later they are no where to be found. The sad thing is these are brilliant people. I used to rack my brain trying to figure out why people quit.
This chapter has validated for me that I am on the right path to success and no road blocks will be able to influence me to quit.
I will look for the way to go over them, around them or under them to stay on this journey that is right for me.
No doubt this book was written for me and thousands of others who, QUOTE Hill: “has neither the time or the inclination to study failure in search of knowledge that may lead to success.”
